MEET THE TEAM: MISS KAZ

Hi, I’m Kaz, the owner and head Mobile Swim Instructor at All Aqua KY!

My water journey started as a kid with a sweet love for the water, taught by my mom, who is also a water fanatic. I quickly moved through swim lessons, zoomed through swim meets, and found myself competing in races. But my love for the water and playful nature meant I’d be more focused on checking in on my friends during races, rather than actually caring about winning. For me, swimming is about enjoying the water and the people you share it with! On my days off, you’ll find me freediving, scuba diving, or throwing myself into any body of water I can find!

I teach with a holistic approach, making sure every swimmer feels relaxed, has fun, and thrives in the water—whatever that looks like for them. As someone who struggled in school with dyslexia and undiagnosed ADHD, I really get the importance of different teaching styles. I’ll always go out of my way to ensure each child finds their rhythm in the water—physically, mentally, and educationally. My lessons are silly but strict—I’ll make sure we nail the technique, but I’m also not afraid to be a total goofball in the pool!

I studied Graphic Design at university and spent my summers as a lifeguard and swim instructor at a super fun day camp in East Hampton, New York. I loved it so much, I went back for eight summers! After graduating Uni (with a final project all about kids’ swim lessons), I became a baby swim instructor in London, and that path led me to co-found a baby swim school in Chelsea. From there, I moved into private swimming lessons, and eventually, I found my way to Grand Cayman, where I’ve spent the last four years teaching babies, kids, and beginner adults!

Now, with All Aqua, I’m bringing fun, effective, and totally playful mobile swim lessons to the Cayman Islands!
